Spring is in the air! But with it come bugs, fleas and ticks....Blech!
It's 2010 and there are innovative, easy and new options in pest control for your dog and cat!
Here is some information, tips and new ideas for you to consider in helping in your pest control fight.
Can I use dog products on cats and/or cat products on dogs?
No - You should never use a product - OFF LABEL - which means doing anything with the product that is not in the directions for use. Cats are often sensitive to dog safe products and dosages are clearly studied for these products. If the pesticide or product you are using does not say its safe to use on a dog or cat - DO NOT USE IT!
Is more better?
No! Suggested dosages and weight indications on pesticides are again carefully considered and studied. More is NOT better. If you accidentally "overdose" your dog or cat on any product; call the ASPCA's poison control center at 888-426-4435 or http://www.aspca.org/pet-care/poison-control/
Flea control in my home
The best way to naturally defeat fleas is to vacuum and wash bedding regularly and use SAFE, monthly or weekly topical pesticides on your dog or cat.
